Founded in Houston, Texas, in December 2011, TEXPETROL, Inc. is a specialized distributor of industrial equipment and engineered products serving demanding process and energy markets.
Since 2011, TEXPETROL has supported end users, EPC companies, OEMs, integrators, contractors, and industrial facilities with technical-commercial solutions for applications where product compliance, documentation, responsiveness, and reliable execution matter.
Our experience has been developed primarily across the oil & gas, refining, petrochemical, chemical, energy, power generation, water and related process industries.
Over the years, TEXPETROL has supplied equipment from recognized global industrial manufacturers including Cameron Valves, Teledyne Flame & Gas Detection, E2S Warning Signals, Emerson AMS, and other established manufacturers serving critical industrial applications.

TEXPETROL supports HD Hyundai Electric motor requirements across Severe Duty, IEEE 841, Explosion Proof, API 661, Close-Coupled Pump, and IEC Metric families — for pumps, fans, blowers, compressors, and other rotating equipment across oil & gas, chemical, food & beverage, water/wastewater, and general manufacturing.
From Requirement to Motor Selection
TEXPETROL supports engineering, maintenance, procurement, OEM, and integrator teams throughout the purchasing process. Depending on the application, our support may include:
- Review of motor specifications and application requirements
- Nameplate and replacement-motor review
- Coordination of technical datasheets and drawings
- Motor configuration and equivalency review
- Verification of current manufacturer inventory and availability
- Commercial quotation and order coordination
- Documentation and inspection requirements
- Factory Acceptance Test coordination when applicable
- Manufacturer warranty coordination
For replacement applications, a nameplate is often the starting point rather than the complete technical specification. When required, TEXPETROL works with the customer and manufacturer to obtain the additional information needed for a technically responsible selection.
